Will my PIP review be backdated?

Pip review backdating, my review was submitted over 18 months ago I am eventually having a video call in 2 weeks. In my review I noted my condition has considerably deteriorated. Can I ask apologies if this has been asked before but will my review be backdated as I have noted a change in needs?

The normal rule is that if the review was started by DWP any change is only applied from the date of decision but if the review was started because the claimant reported a change, if the decision is an increase, it is applied from the date the change was reported.Having said that some posters have reported that they have had the outcome of decisions backdated even if they were made by as a result of a review started by DWP. This is presumably acknowledgement of the long delays carrying out reviews but it isn’t clear whether or not this is a consistent policy.0

My PIP review was backdated.
Good luck and fingers crossed you also get backdated monies should your award change.

It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be consistency with this and I've yet to see any official word on the matter.0
