Hiya everyone, I'm finally back home from the hospital now.
I came home yesterday, but I was too tired to do much. My right hand is hurting and very sore and swollen, but that's because I had a cannula in it. I had a Dr come to put a new one in on Sunday she wanted to put it in my left hand, but I refused as I'm left handed and I use my left hand a lot. I mainly use my right hand for when I'm using scissors as I can't use them in my left hand.
It's sooo good to be home and to be able to watch my programmes on a decent size TV as the screens on the hospital bedside tvs is tiny. I'm not even sure how small they are.
Normally I can watch TV wearing my every day glasses or my reading glasses, but I could only watch the bedside ytv in the hospital with my reading glasses on as the screen was too small to see with my every day glasses on.
I had an inflamed bowel, but they think it was because of an infection I had (no idea what type of infection it was as I was never told and I never thought to ask), but I'm waiting for an outpatient appointment for an mri scan just to check my bowel is back to normal. I'm also on medication for my high blood pressure which the hospital want the Dr to keep an eye on as its been very high while I was in hospital, but they're not sure if it's because I wasn't well or if it is high, but I told the nurses and doctors that my mum has high blood pressure.
