Hi all.
It's that time again...
I had my assessment review by telephone last week and have recieved my assessors report.
Going from the recommended descriptors I have been recommended standard care and standard mobility again which I am extremely grateful for, should the decision maker go with the report.
Since my last assessment, my health has deteriorated more and I explained this on mu form, giving real world examples and the same on the assessment.
I also submitted extra evidence too.
My question is, does the decision marker go with the recommended desrlceiptors or could they potentially add if they feel necessary?
On each descriptor of the report the assessor has copied and pasted 'considered x but has a driving licence so gone with last report' for their decision, acknowledging that my conditions and how they affect me have worsened but kept everything the same.
She also asked me if my mobility had deteriorated in the past 12 months to which a said yes and I am now more unstable and balanced on my feet and have had numerous falls in the past six months. But again the same comment was copied and pasted.
Hope this all makes sense.
I just wondered it the decision maker reads through everything x

The DM usually follows the report but they can reach a decision which is different.1

Before making a decision they should look at all evidence, including your form and the assessment report. Though they do usually go with the report but it has been known for them to go against it. Once the decision is made if you're not happy you can request the MR.

Thank you all.
I'm happy with my award - fingers crossed it stays the same.
I was the next descriptor off enhanced for both. Just not sure why the assessor would say she considered higher discriptors but marked same as last report. 🤔0 -
I am really happy for you @Loverofwords, especially as you are happy with your award. Hopefully, it will stay the same.
I guess "considered" can mean she thought about them and not necessarily that she applied them. Though, I can hear how this might be confusing to have mentioned0
