    Ohhhh dear,

You  soon begin to loose the will,
Keep your chin up & keep fighting....that's what it's all about...
For all the people that fight, your probably saving many, from going through the same thing, we'll let's hope that's the case...
Well it looks like the totally unsuitable work capability assessment has been dropped hopefully this ridicule will be treated the same way.

Hi sorry to jump on the conversation. Even after I was awarded lcwra the restart people still hounded me!! It clearly states that you do not need to do any work search or take up any work/courses whilst on this. It took me three months and endless visits to the job centre to stop these imbeciles threatening me with sanctions. They are making people have mental issues with their bullying tactics.......

Your spot on that's exactly how I feel about it at the moment, I'm supposed to go on one of their stupid courses on monday but the pain I have in my hip at the moment I will more than likely be at the docs for some strong pain killers instead so they wont be pleased with me, dont be sorry about jumping in the more the merrier.

How are you doing at the moment @Philonline? Hopefully, you're doing a little better - particularly with less pain in your hip.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you would like to talk about anything further or if there's anything we can do to support you  :)

Had a chat with my UC coach and she also agreed that I should return the not so free 3 LTE home router that you need to register with 3 and sign up for a data package, not cheap either! I also told her about them constantly trying to push me into being a BT telesales call person which I am sick of telling them I do not have the patience or temperament to do, today I had a restart telephone appointment booked for 11 am  they called at 11.13 am I answered and they hung up, reported this on my journal just to be safe, the saga continues.

I'm sorry to hear about your continuing saga @Philonline how frustrating for you! Well done for reporting in on your journal just in case, it's always a good idea to have a record in writing :)

Now I have a message from restart telling me that they tried to call me but it rang out with no option of leaving a message and that they received a message from me after the attempt, how do you stop all this rubbish? what with the pain in my hip, disrupted sleep patterns and these numpties I am just about at the end of my tether, or is that what they are trying to do?

Have you had the decision on your MR yet? Unless you're found to have LCWRA then the appointments and calls will continue from restart and i don't think they can be stopped. When claiming UC you're classed as a job seeker until a decision on the WCA says otherwise.

I’ve been given lwc but I do work. This now means I get some help along with working.  I do want to work. I’m in quite a bit of pain due to osteoarthritis and spondylitis but I keep popping pain killers to help me.
Hope you are coping @Philonline . It’s not easy is it( the system). I hoped I’d be able to retire soon but there’s no chance ( I’m 60 next yr with a list of health issues). I hope they leave u alone soon.
Is there anywhere u can get independent advice?.

I'm going to the doctors and will see what he says as this is getting beyond a joke, I spent a year getting off morphine due to side affects and thought I could cope without them but it seems not, people keep saying go to the citizen's advice but since they signed a non disclosure with the DWP I dont see any point.

@Philonline did they really, that’s awful, I thought they were independent.  There just doesn’t seem anywhere to turn. I wonder if turning to the chad or something to highlight what’s happening. I just had no idea. It’s my first time claiming.  I tried all the first year after leaving a bad marriage, not to claim but with addissons osteoarthritis etc I was off a few times as I have no stress hormones ( no cortisol to help me get better if I’m Ill, or excited or over active etc). I was struggling to the point of no food in the house other than dog food etc so I had to try.  There will be a time when I just can’t do it especially if my kidney failure gets worse as I’ll need a new kidney then.  Our system is a mess. I get they need to weed out fraudulent claims but surely urs is an obvious one. I don’t know enough to help u, I’m so sorry, I know I felt stressed just having an assessment.

Who knows they will come up with something to replace it? I get updates on my phone since I signed a couple of online petitions about the way the DWP have treated the disabled.

That's the way the country is going now money money money that's all that counts, like you I spent a year without claiming but with my NI state pension credit deficit getting bigger I decided to claim UC cant wait to retire so all this stops and the bonus chasing restart people go away.
