Hi I have just received a text message this morning for a F2F PIP assessment, it is at 8.30 am in couple of weeks time it is around an hours drive away and my daughter will need to accompany me but she has to take her children to school in the mornings. Will I be able to change the appointment to a different time. Also I do not have a contact number for the assessment centre so do I just call the general PIp number and speak to them. I don’t understand why they send people a long distance away when there are closer to home centres, do they do this deliberately to make it as difficult as possible for people.

You will need to speak to the assessment provider. PIP do not deal with the appointment but they should be able to give you the assessment provider number.
You can usually change the appointment once only.0 -
Thank you for your reply I will try and give them a call.0

Have you managed to give them a call yet @te1 and, if so, how has this gone for you? Please feel free to let us know how this goes and if you need any further support0
