Hi, I’m trying to understand what benefits my adult daughter should get and have hit a brick wall with DWP.
She acquired a brain injury in 2019 and was supported by CHC, initially she was awarded enhanced PIP and ESA. Last October she was not coping in her home and so moved to a care home (no nursing)  paid for by CHC. I notified the change and expected her to lose the living component of her PIP but I have been told by DWP that she will also lose her mobility because she is supported by CHC even though she scores 24 and receives no medical support. She has a WAV car which is a complete lifeline and she will be be devastated to lose it. Her CHC manager says they are wrong but PIP won’t listen, can anyone please advise me who is right as mobility have not been paid and are due to take the car back soon.
