Hi, my name is Diana and I am feeling extremely low today. My PIP has been refused even though my conditions (fibromyalgia, CFS, endometriosis and mental health conditions. I also have cracked a vertebrae due to being female, 60 years old and slim, so I am told. I had a phone assessment and the lady made me cry so much that I got myself into a terrible state. Scored 4 points and 2 points for mobility. I am now sitting, very uncomfortably, going through how to get a reconsideration and have no one to help me. I live alone and I havnt pushed myself enough to reach out for the help. This has made me feel even worse as I am now punishing myself for being an idiot!! The phone assessment was awful. She became quite aggressive towards the end and I could barely answer due to slobbering through the questions.
Has any one else found this to be a harrowing event? Daft question I suppose. I am not going to give up though.

PIP is not awarded based on a diagnosis or multiple diagnosis, it's based on whether you fit the descriptors. You need to check whether an award is actually possible, if so mandatory reconsideration is your best option..Other with more knowledge might be able to advise0
