I put in for a mandatory decision. I phoned so didn't put anything in writing does that mean the decision won't be changed. never done this before so I don't know

It is better to pig mr in writing to make sure you get all your points down and have time to get everything across
You can always follow up in writing and hope it isn't reviewed till they have your written submission0 -
Although I would always recommend putting an MR in writing the fact that you have done by phone doesn’t mean that the decision will not be changed.
