Hi, my name is lewismgza! DHP payment advice

I’m moving into a new home and read about the DHP payment but when applying form local council(only have online form) it asking me when I moved in.. but I kind of need my rent in advance/deposit so what do I put. Do I lie and backdate it to cover the first month or two… or do I just put when I actually move there and they pay any rent deposit/ first month within a month?

    I wouldn't advise you to lie because that's not the correct the to do. You need to tell them what the payment is for and when your moving date is.
