If you were to build a house, What is a non essential must have?

    I would just love a nice detached house overlooking the sea, and big windows to sit and look out at it.

    It would be an inside one as we don't get weather for that in the UK.

    So many amazing ideas!

    I didn't even think about which way I would need to build the house for best light or where the Christmas tree would go each year. 

    I'd also want a little library (ok maybe a big library) that doubles as a study <3

    I would love to live a semi-peaceful life, in the middle of nowhere, ideally somewhere like Norway.. 
    (I say semi-peaceful as my family are a noisy bunch and I love it that way)

    My non essential would be also be a huge bay window to sit and look at the landscape and at night we could watch the northern lights, with a huge mug of tea in hand.
