A worsening of condition or a new diagnosis doesn't automatically entitle you to a higher PIP award. I wouldn't take the word of anyone from a local Job centre because they're not experts with the PIP criteria. I would have got some expert adviced before reporting any changes.Being found unfit for work will have no bearing on a PIP claim because they are completely different benefits, with different criteria. PIP has nothing to do with your ability to work. Some people find it helpful to ask those that know them well to write a supporting letter. You should also give a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. You can also get some expert advice from an agency near you.
