Hi all!
Im quite new here and looking for some advice, I’ve been out of work for nearly 2 years and have been receiving LCWRA, I was advised to apply for PIP which I received a text on Friday that I have been awarded it.

Does anyone know if I will stop receiving the LCWRA now I have been awarded PIP?

LCWRA is part of UC and PIP is a completely different benefit. You will now receive your PIP as well as all of your usual UC.Are you claiming UC with a partner? If so does your PIP include the daily living part?1

That helps me a lot. Do I also inform UC of my PIP award?
I claim UC as a single person but I haven’t yet received my award letter, I received a text a few days ago that I have been awarded PIP and will receive a letter within 2 weeks with details0 -
You can tell UC that you're now claiming PIP. If you're claiming for help with the rent through UC and you're privately renting, if you're under 35 and your PIP includes the daily living part then you'll be entitled to the 1 bedroom rate of LHA instead of the shared rate.
