I'm not sure if I'm missing it but I've not heard anything from the budget about people on new style ESA. Is this still going to be available?

There is no comment on this and what has been said is very vague and subject to considerable thought before any changes are developed. In any words there is nothing to thing about at the moment.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Possibly a couple of weeks but to know for certain you will need to ring them.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

I sent the ESA50 form off 2 weeks ago, my ssp ended on 23rd feb. I still have had no money, they keep telling me it's with the new claims team and that I've done everything it's just up to them to process it. What is the next stage regarding the ESA50 form?

You will likely need a work capability assessment as most people have them. Once an appointment becomes available you will be contacted. This could take several months, possibly longer.

I don’t really understand this new style esa?
I’ve been on esa since it first came out in October’07 and yet mine is still called contribution based?
I think it may be since my girlfriend , now my wife, came to live with me?

New style ESA is a contributions based only benefit.
The old contributions based can include an income Related top up. As your ESA started in 2007 then it won’t be New style.

I have received 1 week of my 12 weeks notice pay from work I've had national insurance deducted, I get ESA £77 a week while I wait to be assessed. I thought ESA included the NI credits? Should I have had the NI deduction from my pay?

ESA includes class 1. That's correct, you will still need to pay NI contributions if your earnings were above £242/week. For earnings between £123 and £242/week then you'll be treated as having paid. https://www.gov.uk/national-insurance

I have got my final pay now. I've been taxed on this, which I thought would happen but now I'm unemployed and receiving ESA my income in this tax year will be less than 1257L tax code. I'm just wondering if I'm owed any tax back will it just come back to me or do I have to do something
