Hello everyone.  I won my PIP tribunal 10/3/23, first applied 03/22,.   Not had the call about bank, hospital etc yet. Was wanting to get a mobility car but by time money is sorted I won't have 12 months left cos is awarded from 03/22 until 03/24.  Was told would hopefully be moved over to ADP before then. So my question is - can I still get a mobility car and is it worth trying?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to place an order for a motability vehicle because as you correctly said, you need to have at least 12 months remaining on your award when you place an order. There's no point trying i'm afraid. https://www.motability.co.uk/how-it-works/

Sorry another question - if I got my own car with my backpay would I still be able to get a blue badge and parking bay outside my house?

You can apply for a blue badge, you don't need a motability vehicle to be entitled to this. As you live in Scotland this link will help. https://www.mygov.scot/apply-blue-badge/eligibility
For a parking bay outside your house then you will need to contact your local Authority for this. I know it won't be easy to get this.

Good evening people. Does anyone know about free bus travel cards.  I have been awarded higher PIP mobility.

You will need to look at the criteria for your Local Authority.  Check here. https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-disabled-bus-pass

Roughly how long after phone call does it take for the money to go into bank.

Timescales vary. Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days. Only PIP can tell you if payment was made and if it has when to expect it in your bank.

Just to say that my back payment went into my bank account at same time as my UC payment ....😁   Still waiting for the letter ✉️ with all the details as to date of regular payments.  A weight of my shoulders that the money side is sorted at last - after 54 weeks.

Congratulations on winning your PIP tribunal! The rules and regulations regarding mobility cars and the Motability scheme can vary depending on your location and specific circumstances. However, in general, if you have been awarded the enhanced rate of the mobility component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and have at least 12 months of remaining eligibility, you may be eligible to lease a mobility car through the Motability scheme in the UK.

If you are concerned that you may not have 12 months of remaining eligibility before your award ends in March 2024, it's best to contact the Motability scheme directly or consult with an advisor who is knowledgeable about the specific rules and regulations in your area. They will be able to provide you with up-to-date and accurate information on your eligibility and the options available to you.

Up to date and accurate information has already been given. The rules for joining the motability scheme are the same nationally and you must have at least 12 months remaining on a mobility award before you can join the scheme.

As the OP doesn't have 12 months remaining they will not be able to join the scheme. Full details on the scheme are here. https://www.motability.co.uk/how-it-works/

Every since my husband and I had Covid back in January we seem to pick up every bug that is going about.  🦠  Coughs, sore throats etc. Always napping 🛌 in the afternoon for a hour or two. Our immune system just doesn't seem to be able to fight 🥊 even the smallest of bugs off.

    We need help ............

We can't give any medical advice, if you have concerns about your health then i'd advise you to both speak to your GP.
