Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank. The decision letter will follow after this.
You can ring PIP to ask when to expect payment into your bank and what you’ve been awarded and they will tell you.1 -
Congratulations on being awarded PIP @emsmith21, how are you feeling about the news?1

Hi @emsmith21. It's not possible for us to say for sure what's going on but it sounds like they've sent it for extra checks which happns sometimes before a payment is released. Fingers crossed you won't be kept waiting much longer.0

Hi I sent my pip renewal form in jan 2022 I had my pip assessment 2 wks ago March 2023 and I received a letter today to say they have all the info they need to make a decision. Does anyone know how long it usually takes from getting this letter to getting a decision? And also will I get back pay from jan 2022?
Thanks x0 -

If this was a review started by DWP then they don’t usually owe any money if awarded a higher rate. However, due to the delays with review decisions they are owing some people some money but not everyone.0
