Hey everyone .
I was wondering if anyone can give me a bit of advice please.
I received my backpay from pip. Still not received letter. I don't mean to seem ungrateful but the thing is I was payment today ESA. Usually it has gone through but checked my app and it's not gone through. Can anyone tell me if it's because I had pip back date. I'm was under impression that it doesn't effect ur normal payment. Im not sure what to do. I checked my account and it jus says pip payment. Can you tell me if payment does stop as I'm worried my santander account has been hacked.

You mentioned that this refers to PIP but then mentioned ESA and I didn’t understand what you were asking about your ESA app but, if I understood what you said, you said that you have also received ESA payment. What sort of ESA are you referring to, is it a new claim or is a possible change to your ESA.0 -
Thank you answering. I am on ESA employment support allowance. Which is every 2 weeks due today. But it's not in accou t. I checked but the back pay I got is for pip and that is my first payment from as I only just had my assessment. I am so not very good at this so please bare with me. Do apologise. If my ESA hadn't gone in does that mean it's because I had my back from pip. Do I have toring them ESA or pip thank you0

Backpay wont effect any ESA payment0

If this is a new PIP award sometimes it will suspend another benefit like ESA because the "system" has indicated there's been a change. It's nothing to worry about but you will need to ring ESA and tell them that you haven't received your money today. They will make a same day fast payment. Is it Income Related ESA that you're claiming? If so do you live alone or with other adults?0

I'm not sure if if it's this month as well as I am still waiting on letter. I will ESA and explain to them pip is a new claim and that my ESA haven't paid me. Is it because my circumstances change.0

I claim ESA myself so i know what it is. Your back pay for PIP will not include your first 4 weekly payment. It will be money that's owed from the date you rang to start your claim. When you receive your decision letter it will tell you what day of the week your payments will be, it's paid every 4 weeks. The reason you didn't receive your ESA today is because as i explained here.poppy123456 said:If this is a new PIP award sometimes it will suspend another benefit like ESA because the "system" has indicated there's been a change.poppy123456 said:Is it Income Related ESA that you're claiming? I have not had my letter off PIP either and called them twice, last time they said it was sent on the 13th but still nothing

It's not unusual for it to take a couple of weeks to receive the decision letter. It does say on the text message they send for successful claims that you need to allow up to 2 weeks for this letter.
