Hello everybody, i hope you are all well. I just have a quick question today. How long does it take once the PIP2 form has been recieved for the assessor to have read it and most likely book you in for assessment? I would like to preface this by saying i have more concern than just worrying as to the reason i ask. I live near London. Thank you in advance

Hello @VillageRepeat and thanks for your query
Unfortunately, there's no easy way for us to know exactly how long it will take for your assessment to get booked in.
I do know that there's a lot of backlogs at the DWP, and a lot of people are facing increased wait times.
How did you find filling out your PIP2 form?0 -
If it's a first time claim it could be between a few weeks to a few months. If it's a review of an existing claim then considerably longer.
