PIP assessment results

I finally had the letter from my PIP assessment, and I can't believe the assessor awarded me zero for everything! I had 13 points on daily living and 4 on mobility (although this should have been 10, but I didn't want to rock the boat before a review). I'm shocked and deeply upset as everything the decision maker said seems to suggest the assessor's report is utter rubbish!

I phoned PIP and after being on hold for 20 minutes spoke to a lovely lady who advised me to fill in the form online or get someone to help me as I was so distressed. I didn't know at that point that I need to ask for a copy of the assessors report. I phoned back, but get cut off after answering all the questions, it asks if you want to do a survey and then cuts you off. I've been trying for over an hour! I tried the MR line again in the hope they could help and the woman who answered said she'd transfer me, and before I had chance to say anything else, put me through to the same line and after 40 minutes on hold I was cut off again!
Please, can anyone tell me how I can get the assessors report?
Thank you x

You don't need the assessment report to request the MR because all it causes is a distraction. For the MR (assuming the decision has been made) then you should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points.
Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each descriptor that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
Decisions can take anything up to about 12 weeks. The most likely outcome will be the decision remains the same. If you're not happy you can then proceed to Tribunal.

Thank you, but would it not be better to know exactly what the assessor said as that's what the decision maker has used to make the decision. As the assessor gave me zero for absolutely everything, the decision maker was never going to award me anything. The DM has mentioned things that sound as if the assessor either totally misunderstood what I was saying or just lied...which is actually how it feels as it's so far off the mark!
    Anyway, thank you x

The assessor doesn't award any points, they make recommendations only. A decision maker awards the points. As advised, it's not needed for the MR request because concentrating on this will not get you a PIP award.
If you still want to request it then you'll need to ring the PIP helpline, there's no different number to ring expecially for this or the MR request. You will need to wait until Monday now.
