Struggling with life

I don't know what to do right now.
I've got 0 support at the moment (bad friends, no family & support worker on the way).
I've just been dealing with so much at the lately, briefly:
* Sister kicking me out of her flat after a year of bad health and her not understanding
* Living with friend for 2 months, very awkward
* Finding a flat - but struggling to make decisions on new carpets, white goods etc
* Painting and moving all my stuff on my own, with fatigue and burnout
* My friend essentially gaslighting me
* Brand new cooker and washing machine being faulty
* Autistic burnout
I'm just finally trying to get myself back on me feet and trying to do things for myself. So I need to clean the carpet in my bedroom (I've been sleeping & living in the living room) before I can move anything into there. The carpet cleaner I have had for years seems to not be working properly.
So I thought about hiring a rugdoctor from Tesco, but it was going to be £25 for 24 hours, which I thought was probably a waste of money as I only have 2 carpets to clean, one of which is a small hallway.
When I saw a carpet cleaner on gumtree for £30, I thought that would be ideal, I spend only £5 extra and I have one I can use when I want. So I ask if it's clean and in full working order. I'm told yes, it's in full working order. It obviously slipped my notice that they didn't clearly confirm it was clean.
When I went to collect it, it didn't look clean, it looked bigger and was heavier than I expected, but because of my anxiety, I didn't feel like I could just say no I don't want it. It would take me hours to come to that decision anyway! So I took it.
It's been really hard for me to motivate myself to actually get up and do things. So I had planned to do the carpet today, I downloaded the instruction manual and followed them on filling the tanks and how to use it, only to discover that it isn't working!
It was throwing out an awful lot of dust, so I cleaned that away, but it still doesn't work...
I just don't seem to be able to succeed in doing things for myself.
I contacted gumtree, but they are saying they are only an ad platform, so there's nothing they can do. I'm waiting to see what citizen's advice say. I've also contacted the seller to see what he has to say about it, I doubt he will want to give me my money back and take it back...
I'm just really struggling right now and this is upsetting.

Hi @Autism_at_40 I'm sorry that the carpet cleaner isn't working, that's really disappointing for you and waste of your money.
You might be able to find one new on line that is in a sale. Steam cleaners are OK as well. Also look on freecycle in your area you may get one for free.
Good luck on the new flat you can make it your own but just take time, do a bit here n there.1
