Hi I've been suffering with my mental health for many years I've been diagnosed with BPD, EUPD, Extreme anxiety and depression. I recently put in a claim for PIP and received a requested report before my desicion I've added my score's and only scored 11 points for standard living rate this is frustrating as I know that I was scored incorrectly on some of the questions. I'm riddled with anxiety over this as I can't do anything about it until I've had a decision do I have to wait for a letter to confirm my desicion or can I call pip info line to find out if it has been decided or how long it might take. I can barely eat and sleep I have this overwhelming feeling of dread in my stomach I just need to know so I can move forward.

Hi @kieron - & welcome to the community. Please remember the assessor's report is just a recommendation & you will have to wait for your actual decision letter. Once you get that, if you don't feel it reflects your disability, you can do a Mandatory Reconsideration (details will be at the end of your letter), where another decision maker will look at everything you sent.Unfortunately it can take anything from 2-12 weeks to receive a decision from the time of your assessment, so hope you can try & distract yourself from thinking about this in the meanwhile, tho appreciate that's not easy.0

It's really normal to be anxious about the decision but try not it to let it ruin your 16 weeks ahead at the most until you get the report back because that won't be any good for your health and well-being. Instead I would highly recommend you try some self can activities. For example having a cuppa, listening to music or meeting up with someone at a coffee shop.0
