Is it better to pay a company to submit a PIP appeal

Hi, last year I applied for PIP and was awarded 6 points for daily living and 8 points for mobility, so I only actually got the standard rate for mobility, I know this is wrong I believe I am entitled to standard for daily living and the higher rate for mobility. In January I submitted the mandatory reconsideration myself and today I received a letter refusing me any extra points. So I am about to appeal, my question is am I more likely to succeed with my appeal by paying a company to submit it for me ? I've been in touch with a company called 'Benefit Answers' it's no win no fee but they do charge 45% of the total of the backdated amount awarded. Does anyone have any experience with this or any other company ? Are PIP appeals more likely to be won with a company acting on my behalf rather than just doing it myself ? Many Thanks

You don't need to pay anyone to support you with the appeal. There's many members here who go through this process without any support. Even without representation the success rate if you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing is about 73%.If you want support and help going forward there's advice agencies that don't charge for the help they provide. I just don't agree with those that charge in this way, it's disgusting. This link will tell you if there's an advice agency local to you. https://advicelocal.uk/welfare-benefits
