Good morning hope everyone is well, for many years now we have been caring for our disabled daughter who is 100% dependant, now a young adult (24) living at home our current set up is both myself & her mother work full time, me away from home for at least 6 months of the year & we have a younger daughter who is 14 years old. Our disabled daughter currently receives higher rate PIP, both components & Social Services pay for 53 hours per week for a personal assistant support.
My question is, as a young adult of working age (although she never will) without savings is she entitled to any other benefits eg. Universal Credit

Good Morning to you @Cxy007 and thanks for posting I'm glad to hear your daughter is getting support for a PA and well as from PIP too.
Scope has guidance on Universal Credit which I hope is helpful to read. It's a means-tested benefit, so to clarify, you cannot receive Universal Credit if you have savings of £16,000 or more.
You'd also be welcome to call or email the Scope Helpline to speak to one of our advisers.
