My motability award was reduced because I was able to keep eye contact.
I appealed under the mandory reconciliation and it was 7 months before they put it back but in the 7 months I still had the car but it was not paid for and now motability want 2000 from me or I have to give the car back.
I don't think that a un qualified person who is not medically trained is in a position to take this decision on my need for a car then expect me to find 2 grand.
Any chance you have any information on this.

Surely if they don't take the car while it's being reviewed and they don't take the money either and in the 7 months it took to get the award put back to the highest rate as it was for the past 15 years and in the time that it was under reconsider I was paid a different amount of pip each month so I didn't even know what was going on.

It sounds correct to me. You continued to lease the vehicle, so now you need to pay what you owe them from the money you received after the 7 month wait. The motability scheme isn't free and you exchange your mobility payments for the lease of a vehicle.Having said that i'm very surprised they continued to allow you to keep your vehicle while you didn't have a Enhanced mobility award during those 7 months.1
