Hello. That's the first I hear that they still want to see someone after the phone assessment is over.
After your assessment the health professional will wrote a report and send it to the DWP...and that is it tbh. I never heard of assessment over and then wanting to see someone again before making a decision 🤔0 -
Thanks for your reply me either I think I might give them a ring and ask it's bothered me all night thinking about having to go through it all again my head is still pounding thanks0

Yes, give them a ring 🙂 I think it will help you calm down if you talk to someone from DWP/PIP. It's worth asking what she meant (your assessor).
Maybe it was a 'mistake' on her part.0 -
Just tried ring go through security then they cut you off great ha I'm hoping it's a mistake0

Hello @Pauzy123 and a warm welcome to the community.
I know in the past if they weren't able to make a recommendation they've called people in for a face-to-face assessment but I haven't heard it happening for some time.
Unfortunately if you're telephoning PIP. the call handler is unlikely to know what the assessor meant by the comment. Once you receive news that PIP have received your assessment report, you could request a copy which might give you some idea as to what the assessor has recommended.
I hope you manage to speak to someone and get it sorted out soon. Please let us know how you get on.0
