Hi there :) I've recently been awarded LCWRA and I was wondering when I will receive the first payment? I received the LCWRA award on the 23rd of March. I submitted my Work Capability assessment sheets with all my relevant medical info on the 13th of January. From what I've gathered online there is a 3 month waiting period... but I am confused about from when that period actually starts? If someone could explain this to me that would be very helpful as I am just so confused... thanks so much!

Yes, there's a 3 month waiting period, with payment only being made in the 4th month from when you supplied a fit note at the start of your claim, & so long as you kept on with continuous fit notes.

When it’s paid from exactly will depend on what date you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
