Hi there I've recently been awarded LCWRA and I was wondering when I will receive the first payment? I received the LCWRA award on the 23rd of March. I submitted my Work Capability assessment sheets with all my relevant medical info on the 13th of January. From what I've gathered online there is a 3 month waiting period... but I am confused about from when that period actually starts? If someone could explain this to me that would be very helpful as I am just so confused... thanks so much!

Yes, there's a 3 month waiting period, with payment only being made in the 4th month from when you supplied a fit note at the start of your claim, & so long as you kept on with continuous fit notes.

Thanks so much for the response this makes more sense to me now!

You're very welcome.0

When it’s paid from exactly will depend on what date you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.1
