My mum passed away in January, I was her carer and I received a letter from pip saying they want to review her claim and the change is to do with ‘ how we assess someone's ability to engage with other people face-to-face’ and I could be owed money that she should have got. Has anyone else had this and is it genuine? I have sent the form back but i had to put my bank details and now I’m panicking that It’s a scam.

Sorry for your loss. It is not a scam. The rules for this changed in 2020 i think. They are looking at all decisions made on or after 6th April 2016. More information here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-changes/social-support-changes-to-pip-law-from-6-april-2016If money is owed, it will be paid to you.
