Hi
I have CP and feel incredibly low and lonely, everything hurts and my body is painful. I feel alone in my experience, I also have fibro. I need to connect with others because my friends are all able bodied and don’t understand where I am coming from.

Hi @Emilia1978 welcome to scopes forum. You've come to the best place to be understood, lots of members here have cp and fibro.
Have you spoke to your dr about your pain, tried different meds etc.

Hello @Emilia1978 and a warm welcome to the community
I also have CP myself, and I can relate to sometimes feeling isolated among non-disabled friends, who don't really understand the impact of fatigue.
In my experience, sometimes I find that I 'mask' how tired I'm really feeling to fit in, so talking about this with my friends has helped them to understand a bit more and check in with me if I go a bit quiet when socialising.
Here on the community we have a category dedicated to Cerebral Palsy, as well as Chronic Pain and Pain Management, where you can chat to other members who really 'get it'. You're certainly not alone here, as Sandy says.
Can I ask what kind of care you're getting for your CP at the moment, and what works best for you with managing pain levels? If you're struggling at the moment, it might be a good idea to check in with your GP.
I'll also tag my colleague @Richard_Scope as a fellow person with CP, and our CP programme lead.
