I've had MD for 8 years now and it's getting worse. Interested to know how others are experiencing this God-awful disease.

Hello there @Rick_Gamer and welcome to Scope's online community, thanks for joining and sharing a bit about yourself.
Are you a Gamer? I enjoy playing on the PS5
I'm sorry to hear that your Muscular Dystrophy (MD) is getting worse, how are you managing your symptoms at the moment?
You'd be welcome to chat with other members here about your experiences, perhaps in the rare conditions category. If you just want to chat, the coffee lounge is a good start.
I wondered if you're in touch with any of the support groups from the NHS website:There are several national charities that offer support for people affected by MD, such as the Muscle Help Foundation and Muscular Dystrophy UK. Ask your GP or other healthcare professionals treating you about local support groups.
There are also some national support groups that promote research or provide support for specific types of MD, such as Action Duchenne, Duchenne UK and the Myotonic Dystrophy Support Group. If there's anything else you'd like a hand with, please ask
