My name is Rob, I am currently in my third and final year at the University of Newcastle and I am in the process of writing my dissertation focused on accessibility in the gaming industry. I am aiming to make guidelines for developers to follow when creating their accessible features to open up the world of gaming to more people. I had to narrow down my research to those with hearing impairments and/or visual impairments therefore the survey is primarily targeted at those individuals.

Please if you could spare about 5 minutes of your day to fill out this survey, I would appreciate it a lot and it would help me to better reinforce the needs for these features.

The survey is completely anonymous and no personal information will be gathered.

Thank You !

Hi @RobNCL and thanks for sharing your survey with the community :)

As a disabled gamer myself I'd love to know how things go with the dissertation, but as I have a physical disability I won't take part in this one! Even without a hearing or visual impairment, I do prefer using subtitles when gaming, as well as larger text in menus.

    Best of luck!

    Hi @RobNCL

I'm heading into my third year at university and planning to undertake my dissertation in accessibility in video games. Currently I'm researching this area and trying to find similar projects for guidance.

If you had some spare time, could I ask some questions about how your project went and gain some advice on this subject matter? :)
