Son got a text to say he should return the pip application form, he has many health issues and also Dyslexic so took ages to complete the form with help, but we sent it registered post a week before due end date and got proof it was delivered, but he has not had any text to confirm they received it, is that normal please or should we contact them?

You sent it as signed for, next day delivery but this doesn't mean they've received it at DWP. It will mean it's been received and signed for by someone from Royal Mail. All post going to and from DWP has to go through a mail sorting process with thousands of other mail. Being signed for means it will be somewhere in the building at the sorting office. It's not classed as arriving with DWP until it's been added to the computer, which can often take a couple of weeks.0
