And after reading a decision more carefully,I noticed at one point the decision maker went against assessor's recommendation. In my favour. I was very surprised 😯

I've haven't commented on here before but I'm very sad to read you feel pushed out of the group. 

I always believe we should be kind to one another on threads especially on website like this, sometimes where vulnerable people come asking for advice and we never know what's going on at home or how difficult and busy our lives can be.

I have to say I do understand what you meant about DWP communication and more immediate contact. I have heard of this happening elsewhere in the DWP. Such as for ESA when the decision maker has decided to turn someone down they often make a courtesy call to clarify the facts - but they will explain the refusal on the call, and indeed I know of other courtesy calls being made - such as when someone fails to attend a work capability assessment and the decision maker decides to send the case back for assessment. When they do this I know of courtesy calls being made. So they do happen but I haven't heard of it so much in PIP but it would be a good idea to expand it.

I hope you can choose to come back and know that people on here do want to help and be kind as well as offer advice.

But, I appreciate if you can't come back here I wouldn't want anyone to be without a place for advice and in case you weren't aware there are other corners of the web where you can get benefits advice. There are two forums on a website called reddit 'benefitsadviceUK' and 'DWPhelp' and there was a forum on yourable which is due to be up and running again soon.

You could also get in touch with scope and give them feedback about why you had to leave the group, you never know this may help them run the forums better.

I also hope your decision comes through soon and I hope it goes well for you.

was this a new award or a review out of curiosity and if review was it the same award as you previously had?

@apple85,it was a review. Award was the same as previously,same amount of points(I didn't expect more points this time so I wasn't dissapointed),but this time a year longer than previously.

I’d be pretty happy about that result - I don’t know about others but if I was given the choice of a higher award or a longer award I’d choice the longer breathers between assessments (mental health over additional money every time)
