    Hello @Rute

Welcome to the community! :) Are you keeping well?

The GOV website has a page on how to apply for free disabled tax. I believe you get the PIP certificate from PIP, so I think you will have to contact them.

Hi! To apply for free vehicle tax, you will need to apply for the PIP certificate through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in the UK. You can either apply online, by phone or by post. Here are the steps you can follow:
    1. Visit the GOV.UK website and go to the PIP section.
    2. Click on the "How to claim" tab and select "Apply by phone, post or using video relay".
    3. Follow the instructions to fill out the PIP application form.
    4. Once you have completed the form, send it to the address on the form along with any supporting documents, such as medical evidence or a doctor's note.
    5. The DWP will review your application and may contact you to schedule a face-to-face assessment.
    6. If you are awarded PIP, you will receive a certificate with details of your entitlement.
    7. You can use this certificate to apply for the free vehicle tax through the DVLA.

    I hope this helps!

@Rute already claims mobility PIP so the advice here is misleading. They can’t start another claim because they’re already receiving it. You’ve misread their question.
They need a copy of their certificate of entitlement for vehicle tax which can be obtained from PIP by ringing them, if they can get through. (Assuming they have Enhanced mobility)
if it’s standard mobility then they will be entitled to 50% reduction and then the certificate of entitlement isn’t needed.
