They are not correct based on the information you gave here. They haven’t paid you what is owed for the past 13 months. You are entitled to request the MR and it’s within your rights.Did you tell them that they owe you money from the assessment period I mentioned above? If you get no joy then I’d advise you to contact your local MP. Tell them exactly what’s happened and hopefully they will contact UC on your behalf. You will need to give them your name, address and postcode. https://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/contact-an-mp-or-lord/contact-your-mp/0

yes i did tell them they owed me from the assessment period that you mentioned that was their reply to me word for word.0
-

Yes please request the MR. Tell them that it’s within your rights to request it and they can’t refuse. Put something like, I would like to request the MR on the decision not to award the LCWRA element from X date.0
-
would i say '' i would like to request the MR on the decision not to award me the LWRCA element from 21/07/2022''
would i need to put in any other context or ssy anything else. just want to make sure this is right before i send it on my journal0 -

No, that's not the date. The dates that it should be paid from are assessment period 15th June to 14th July 2022 and first payment should be 21st July 2022. This is what you should put.

i have sent the email to my local MP i am hoping that they help and that i am entitled to backpay i will update on what happens0
-
That's the best way to be honest. Based on the information you gave here then you're entitled to extra money from the AP i mentioned.

well hopefully it all works out and they admit that they made a mistake or they tell me why they have made the decision they made0
-
They get their own rules wrong far too often, especially the LCWRA element. This shouldn't be happening when UC was introduced 10 years ago!

Yes please do let us know the outcome of this ridiculous nonesense! ( please note i'm talking about UC decision maker and not you)1
-
i will keep you all updated with what happens0

i got my decision back today its says '' the decision maker has looked at the evidence again and their decision is set below. we have revised the decision of 14/02/2023. we are awarding you limited capability for worl and work-related activity from 23/02/2022. ''0

im so happy to have had you all guide me through this process and help me. because I don't think they would have given me the right decision if it hadn't been for you all. thank you so so much

i dont know if they will add up all the months lost and pay me and once or whatever happens but this is such a big hahahahaha moment0
-
Finally the correct decision! They now need to recalculate your past statements to work out how much money you've been paid against how much you should have been paid. You will then receive the difference between the 2. Once this is done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will be paid into your bank. Please also be aware that once your statements are recalculated then they will replace your existing ones so you may want to take copies of them now.0

ive been taking screenshots of everything since then sent my first statement, ok hopefully the letter comes though by next week0
-
i didnt get a letter but i got a text on my journal1
