Hi all I applied for pip February I have been awarded it today by text message will I be paid before letter also I found it to be quite easy had my assessment got a text to say assessment has been received got another text telling me they haven’t made a decision yet then two days later got a letter saying they have all the information also a text as well then got up today and a message on my phone saying I have been awarded pip I’m over the moon it has been stressful but not as much as other people who have applied

Congratulations on being awarded PIP! It's great to hear that the process was relatively easy for you, it is stressful so it's great that you've received the good news relatively quickly.In terms of payment, it's possible that you could receive your first payment before the letter confirming your award arrives as this tends to happen quite frequently.
