Assessment report

Good morning everyone.
I had my pip phone assessment on April 6th and I was in such a worried state that I forgot all about recording it.
I requested the assessment report and received it yesterday, I wish I hadnt!
Quite a few things have been added by the assessor that I definitely didn't say. I worked out 9 points for daily living and 0 for mobility.  I lost points because I don't take 8 co codamol a day so I can't be in that much pain?  I have quite alot of medical conditions and the GPs report didn't list my depression and anxiety even though they can see I'm prescribed meds for both.  again that was stated that it can't be affecting me so badly
And how can they possibly say that I didn't sound like I was in pain over the telephone? Am I supposed to wail in pain?
Sorry I just needed a rant, I don't think I have the energy to go to MR as I'm happy with anything right now. The whole process has made me ill 🥺

    Hello 1cequeen
If the decision maker goes with the report then you will have standard daily living but you will not be awarded the mobility component of PIP because you need to score 8 points or more for moving aroung or planning and following a journey.

The assesment depends on the quality of verbal evidence you put on your PIP2 Questionnaire form. You need to be detailed and explain why you cannot complete the 12 PIP activities relaibly and that is safely, repeatedly, in and reasonable time or to an acceptable standard.

You should not be assesed on the level of pain by the amount of pain medication you take.  You need to describe in detail the pain you have and the discomfort you experience. I have written a lengthy reply on another forum post that you might find useful. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/680205/#Comment_680205

I fully understand you frustration but you need to wait until you have your decision letter then only you can decide if you want to take it further by doing a MR and possibly an appeal. If you do a detailed MR following the guidence I linked to above then there is a chance that your award (if the descision maker agrees with the report) could stay the same or increase (on very rare occassions it could decrease) but you will have detailed  verbal evidence in your MR letter that a tribunal will reference to and use in there final decision.
Sorry you are not happy with the report but there are still options available to you.
