Research Study To Explore Dating Experiences of Young Women with a Visible Mobility Impairment

This research study invites women aged 20-35 years old who have a visible mobility impairment to discuss their experiences of dating. The study will involve a one to one interview with the lead researcher (Antonia).
You are invited to take part if you meet the following criteria:
• You have a physical impairment that impacts mobility and is visible.
• You are 20-35 years old and identify as a woman.
• You are currently single and have not been in a relationship that lasted longer than 3 months.
• You have felt dissatisfied with your experiences with dating and feel this relates in some way to your mobility impairment.
• You do not have a diagnosed mental health condition, cognitive impairment or learning disability.
Antonia Burke Hyman, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Coventry University is leading this research as part of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The research was granted ethical approval by Coventry University’s Research Ethics Committee: P144032
