I need a rise and recliner chair with heat and massage, I can't get finance and need help to purchase the chair. Any help would be appreciated

    Unfortunately, I’m not aware of any grants to help with the purchase of this. 

    If you’re claiming certain means tested benefits then you maybe able to apply for a small loan from DWP but this will need to be repaid back.

    Hi Mobility 1,

    My understanding is, that if it is for medical reasons, then I think it will be funded for you, or this used to be the case, as the NHS & councils have no money, everything is much more difficult to get.

    But for medical reasons, I believe they can be provided, with out any cost to you.

    Your GP could refer you to OH, they will complete an assessment.

    But again I think this is on medical grounds, ie, skin integrity etc etc etc.

    I don't know your age, but do contact Age UK, they may advise, what steps to take etc etc.
