Potential change in circumstance

Hi there, I get enhanced daily living and standard mobility, got this first time and was very pleased and very lucky to get what I was expecting, that was about 5 months ago. Due to my mental health conditions, I struggle to get out a lot and probably becoming unfit because of it, to the point where I used to be able to walk decently long distances and this week I've noticed I struggled to walk more than 160 metres without needing to stop, I'm thinking is there any point telling PIP though because I'd probably need another assessment and it probably wouldn't grant end up granting me enhanced mobility instead of standard mobility because they'll probably think I'm making it up to try and score more points or that it's not "bad enough" like yes I know it's technically 200 metres or more that you have to be able to walk to score 0 points but they could just say oh well you only take a break for a short time so it's clearly not that bad. God, I just hate any change that occurs because I'm so scared to lose my PIP, it's one of the few things that enables me to keep ticking along.

If you've only been experiencing the difficulties in the past week then there's nothing to report as yet. You need to have been experiencing the difficulties for at least 3 months and expect them to last at least a further 9 months.
If you do eventually report changes you should get some expert advice before doing so. Reporting changes means you'll be sent more PIP2 forms to fill in and return with all your supporting evidence and another assessment is most likely.
Once the decision is made your award could either stop completely, remain the same, be decreased or increased.
