Hi everyone this is my first post.
Am waiting on knee replacement have been on waiting list for year now.
I receive pip but only living part.
Unsure if after my operation would I be able to inform dwp and ask to be assessed for mobility part of pip.
As I've been advised can take up to year or longer, depending on personal circumstances
All help with this will be very much appreciated

For PIP you need to expect the difficulties to last at least a further 9 months. Usually when you have an op improvements are expected in the near future otherwise they wouldn't be doing the op.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
