Job offer!! Need to ask for reasonable adjustments. Help!
Hello there! I have just been offered a part time job for 21 hours, I assumed it would be 3 days a week, but it is spread over 4 days, great for the short days but not so great for the travelling. I have rheumatoid arthritis and need a lot of rest as I get fatigued very easily. This job offer includes 6 months of training - travelling to the office 4 days a week for that - and then after that, 2 days wfh. For me this is too much. How do I go about asking for changes?

Hello @acg! A warm welcome from me. It is great to hear you have been offered a part-time job for 21 hours.
In terms of reasonable adjustments, do you feel comfortable talking to your manager or HR?
You could also speak to occupational health but there is often a lengthy process which in the end informs your manager.
Also, what sort of reasonable adjustments would you be looking for? It might be that there are things you can put into place at different levels before talking to the relevant people.
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you would like to talk about this further or have any questions0
