Hi, my name is brian1971! Problem with ESA.
My ESA is due tomorrow the 27th April and no 10.1 increase is showing in the “upcoming” payments section of my bank account. I will therefore receive the same amount of ESA tomorrow as I have since April of 2022! I appreciate that ESA is paid two weeks in arrears, but as no increase is going to occur tomorrow, three weeks after it was supposed to, then I cannot see the increase happening at all. I rang the ESA office this morning and gave up after over three hours of trying. No doubt they will be inundated with enquiries such as mine. I will write to them and await a reply.

Hi there. So nice of you to reply. I had my £301.00 payment which has helped me a lot with the high bills we are all getting. The bank was showing the right amount and I had to pay the electricity and gas bill, so I have not received the 10.1 percent increase as yet. I have written to the ESA office but will try ring again on Monday morning. Once again, many thanks for your post.1

Just remembered that next Monday is the 1st of May, a Bank Holiday! I will ring them on Tuesday but will expect a long wait. I could not get though when I tried and spent three hours with a sore ear after listening to messages and music! I will use the speakerphone next time1

Definitely use speaker phone next time @brian1971 I find it very helpful when on hold for a while, as it means my arm is a lot less tired too! If you're a multitasker, it also frees you up for doing other things while you wait.
Best of luck for Tuesday, let us know how you get on1 -
I will use the speakerphone I will let you know how I get on too.1

I managed to get through to the ESA office this morning after a wait of just under an hour, using my speakerphone this time. It was explained to me that my 10.1 percent increase would start early in May
