Hi @ivvy. I am sorry I cannot give you any advice, not sure who can help you to get out of this place, but I am sure someone will comment sooner or later. I just wanted to say hello and please chat to us as often as you want, there is always someone here. I wish I could be more helpful. I know it is not easy to move out from somewhere, especially when you have noone close to help.0

Hello @ivvy and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you keeping?
I'm so sorry to hear things are difficult and that you feel your current housing is unsuitable for you and your needs. Is it social housing you live in, and if so - have you spoken with them about a possible exchange? I'd recommend looking into that if you feel your wellbeing is being affected negatively where you are.
I'm also sorry to hear you're living with these physical and mental health conditions. Are you supported by medical teams with managing your impairments? Also, are you under the care of a local mental health team with coping with your suicidal thoughts? If you wish to discuss this more privately via the community team's email, please do contact us at community@scope.org.uk but I'd encourage you to visit your GP to stress the impact this is having on your mood and if it is the case you feel you may harm yourself to call 999 and ask for the emergency services asap. We really want you to keep safePlease remember that the following organisations are there for you, should you need someone to talk to who'll listen without judgement:
Samaritans: call 116 123, or email jo@samaritans.org
SHOUT: text SHOUT to 85258 to speak to a volunteer over text
CALM: call 0800 58 58 58, or use their live web chat, between 5pm and 12am
I hope our community can be a supportive space for you. Take care.

hi, hope things improve for you soon. You must feel very isolated. I live alone with two dogs and I’ve been in a dark place a few times. I’m 59 in sept. I’ve had anorexia in my 20’s and 30’s and I know how it takes over your life. I developed addissons disease and started eating better for my children. All adults now. I married after live alone for 15 yrs and he turned out to be controlling and nasty. I stayed not knowing what to do for 8 yrs then left with help from friends. I do work but I’m very tired and sick of struggling but I have my own place and I’m now so greatful to still be here. I do have down days ( all last week), but I feel so much better. U hopefully will get there. I know it seems such a long road but keep ur chin up, u can improve ur life, do it at ur pace xxx1
