Hey 👋 everyone, this is a bit 😨 scary ..however I've finally come across an easier site to follow & allows me to reach out to like minded people which is really exciting 🥰...im extremely lonely just now..im having a nightmare trying to get to just see a doctor!! Its beyond ridiculous, extremely soul destroying and i fear potentially dangerous for many people who are currently housebound or struggling, both mentally and physically 🙄 😒 last year I attended 5 assessments for my needs to be addressed and every service I attended resulted in letters ✉️ with the same outcome of "we're sorry but cannot help you due to you being too complex "??every service has rejected me.my medication has not been reviewed since 2015...im just really struggling & not coping with just basic simple daily routine stuff! Has anyone or is anyone else struggling with NHS services ? Sorry to blurt all that out to you all!! I'm just really struggling 'full of anxiety, not sleeping ,not eating properly and genrally not looking after myself at all ..i feel forgotten and utterly neglected by the system 😢 if you've read this thank you so much ❤️ good to just let it all out sometimes eh ! 😊

Hello @Ellerflower10 Welcome to the Community. I am so sorry you are having such a difficult time. Are you having problems getting an appointment with your GP he is your first point of call. It is absolutely fine to say whatever you like. We are here to help and support you where we can. Have you ever had a Social Care Assessment. A Health and social care assessment is carried out by Social Services to find out what help and support you need, like healthcare, equipment, help in your home. You can apply on line.

Hi there @Ellederflower10 and welcome to the Scope online community, thanks for reaching out. I'm so sorry to read about what's been happening when you've tried to access additional support, but I hope talking about it here has helped let it all out as you say!

We'd like to support you as much as we're able to, so please keep an eye out for an email from us a little later today. You're welcome to spend time on the community if you find it helpful, there's no need to apologise for sharing how you're doing right now :)

One of the best things about the forum is that members all have a shared experience of living with disability, and the barriers and challenges this creates, living in a world that isn't designed for disabled people.

Please let us know if you feel we can help further, and I look forward to seeing you around the forum soon.
