    Morning all!
so I’ve not yet received the we’ve made a decision text, HOWEVER, I have just gone to phone them asking for an update, and the automated line asked for the last 4 digits of my bank account number (it never usually asks this). It then goes on to tell me my next payment date is 14th June!
I’m on hold now to speak to someone
Hope it’s good news for you 🤞

It's option 6 on the above number. If there's no award in payment there will not be that option for you.

How are you feeling about filling in the PIP form at the moment @paries1? Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything we can do to help with this  :)

I phoned up and spoke with a case manager … he said that I hadn’t been awarded pip I was phoning regarding a question and discounted points … as it was a lie in what had been said … so we’ve put in for that question to be looked at again … hopefully will hear back soon … the question was does my 4year old go to school I said yes and also does she wear uniform I also said yes … but she didn’t put down I have help with that she left that out… so because of that she gave me points then discounted them because my daughter goes to school and wears uniform so I am capable even the case manager was abit baffled and told me to file a complaint if I’d like to because that bit didn’t add up as I’d been consistent through out and then that so fingers crossed

The stats for MR decisions in your favour are only about 23% so it's quite low. If you already have a PIP award then asking if they have your bank details is a little odd and i wouldn't look into that too much. Sometimes for the MR if they have any questions they will ring to ask.

All you can do now is wait i'm afraid.

Great news. It takes 3-5 working days for money owed to go into your bank.

If you want to know what you’ve been awarded and when to expect the payment into your bank you can ring PIP to ask them.

Whether you need to tell anyone about the award will depend on what the award is and what other benefits you’re claiming.(if any)

No, you won’t lose the ESA. PIP is a separate benefit. Is the ESA Income Related? If so, Are you living with any adults? If so do they claim a qualifying disability benefit their self?

Then if your PIP award includes the daily living part then you’ll be entitled to the Severe Disability Premium. (SDP) This will increase your ESA by £76.40/week and can be backdated to the start of your PIP award.

Once you know what PIP award you have then you’ll need to contact ESA to ask to claim SDP.

You need to make sure that no one claims either carers allowance or carers element of Universal Credit for looking after you, otherwise the SDP will end.

Your Tax credits won’t be affected.
