Hi all,
I am going to be so boring and ask what many have asked before but I just can’t get my head round it.
I applied for LCWRA and gave gp fit notes from 1st February. I was awarded LCWRA on 25th April.
My monthly dates are 11th to 10th, they’ve backdated my UC, so when will I start getting the payments for LCWRA
Sorry to ask but I’m so confused and all of this is totally new to me

There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note.Your waiting period will be Feb to May.. LCWRA starts from 11th May to 10th June and first payment will be 17th June. No LCWRA element is owed.May i ask what you mean by this?Graceylacey said:they’ve backdated my UC,
Do you mean they owed you some money because you or a partner you may live with were receiving some earnings from employment and you didn't previously have the work allowance?I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
They said since claimed UC from February’s they owed me money for the three months so they paid me and now my UC had gone up, thank you for the rest of the info, it’s just nice to be able to budget
