Hi everyone my name is Jade, I am 30 years old. I have quadriplegic cerebral palsy, tremors & other health problems. I wanted to go make friends and dating but I was worried about where to go as I don't want to be taken advantage of or be in any kind of danger.
So does anyone know any particular dating sites which are safe & finding like minded people with disabilities?
Thank you

This is how the website describes it:
“As a Love4Life member you will meet other members at organised group events. Our members are friendly and welcoming, so you will get to know them and you might meet someone that you would like to date. If two members decide that they would like to go on a date, we provide a trained chaperone for up to three dates in order to support a safe dating experience.”
it says they organise activities like bowling, cinema and clubbing. It’s not got online dating profiles, but it does look very safe.1 -
Ok thank you very much for letting me know all about it. I assume they do events local to where members live?0

They say they are Hampshire based.
“Our events take place across Hampshire, so you can join our activities no matter where you are in the county. Here’s some of the places we hold events:
Locations include:
- Coventry
- Gosport and Fareham
- Portsmouth
- Havant and Waterlooville
- Chichester
- Petersfield
- Winchester
- Southampton and Eastleigh
- Basingstoke and Andover
- London”
I think there are similar organisations in the North.
Also lots of areas run “Friendship Club” events for people with disabilities.
I don’t know much about online dating sites though that have online profiles.
I ended up meeting my girlfriend on an holiday at an outdoor activities holiday for people with disabilities. It was a good place for making new friendships as well.1 -
@surfygoose ok unfortunately I don't live in or near any of these areas. So this wouldn't be an option to me.
