this was me as well the panic just took over and I hate how it’s more like a police interrogation than for your health I have been turned down for this twice and it’s now sadly since I’ve had a colostomy bag on and hernia after hernia and blockages in my bowel they have even listened to me I’m only 28 and it’s been massive strain on me mentally I really hope and pray you get the recognition you deserve id love to hear how you got on xx

Hi, am I understanding this right, have you been applying few times? I am asking just because I am thinking about applying again for my partner. We applied long time ago, didn't get enough points, but at that time we thought there is no point of going further. Now, after reading all the posts here, I want to do it again. Is that what you did, you applied again?

Hi @Superbetty, that’s correct I did it like a year maybe 2 ago I didn’t get awarded it - since then I now have a colostomy bag on and my condition worsened - I just re applied and went through the whole process again - it was stressful but worth it as I finally got awarded it I explained on my application  that I re applied as my existing condition was worse than previously and added my new doctor notes in and results when I did the how my disability effects you form happy to help anyway I can xx

You cannot judge the outcome of a decision from your assessment. If you do not get an award first time then you have 2 more stages to complete.
Based on their other comments on many other threads, i believe it was a Tribunal hearing they had and not an assessment. Previous comment here.

Thank you poppy. I did not read there above post properly and missed the "hearing" bit in there reply and thought they were referring to a video assesment. I removed my reply as it was not relevant to the persons situation and I reported my own reply for removal.
Note to self..... Read replies properly before replying myself.
