Waiting for pip decision but didn't need to have any form of assessment

Hey guys, just a question, I applied for pip in December, and received a text a couple of weeks ago saying that they have received my written report and they'd be in touch once they've made their decision.
Is it normal to not have to have a telephone/Face to Face assessment?
And is it a promising sign seeing as I've had no form of assessment and they are making a decision?
The whole process is making me ill with worry
Thanks in advance for any answers I get

You've had a paper based assessment. This is when they have enough of information to write the report without an assessment.I've not heard of many people being refused with a paper based assessment. Once the decision is made if you're not happy you can challenge the decision by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration. It's perfectly normal for the whole process to make you feel this way because the majority of people are the same. Timescales are up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.0

Hello @asha1990
Welcome to the community! How are you keeping?
The texts are normal to receive, as Poppy has said. I'm so sorry it is making you worry. We are here if you need to vent, want someone to talk to or want to keep your mind off it all. We play games over in the Coffee Lounge, would be lovely to see you join in0
