pip and mental health

I don't understand why the pip form doesn't have questions about mental health. I told my assessor about my mental health and she seems to have completely ignored it. I told her I have hydrocephalus and how it affects me everyday. I explained what stress it puts me under and how many jobs I have had to leave or have been sacked from because of it. I talked to her about how I was bullied out of my last job. She was so sympathetic but obviously the sympathy was fake. No mention of my mental health anywhere in her notes.

It's the same for all conditions, mental or physical, with the exception of one question, which asks about "moving around."The questions are related to the PIP descriptors and the majority of them refer to mental health. If this was a review did you treat it as a new claim and give as much information as possible, even if there was no change in your condition?0

Hi @poppy123456. I explained everything as well as I could but hydrocephalus is misunderstood and underestimated by a lot of people. I have found some information online which really does explain it in detail. I am going to print it off and take it to my CAB appointment.0

Taking that information with you isn't going to help. Everyone is affected differently by these conditions and it's not awarded based on any diagnosis. You need to explain exactly how your conditions affect you to the person that's going to help you with the MR process. They will then be able to write the MR letter based on the information you tell them.
