POEM - What happens if I give up?

Here is a poem I thought you might like 
  

WHAT HAPPENS IF I GIVE UP.

 

  I’ve tried to give, all that I can give,

I’ve answered every question, just like a quiz

But what happens to me

If I say that’s it, I give up.

 

I’ve filled out forms, some 40 pages long

I’ve sent in evidence, it goes on and on

But what happens to me, is the end near

When my brain says I can’t sleep any more.

 

They say you need to send in evidence

They say support will help your claim

But what happens to me, when I stop

Is it worth the time, the effort, or not.

 

They say we will use, what you have sent

They say you need to collate, every little event.

But what happens to me

If I have an episode, before it all gets sent?

 

I could try ringing first to ask about the form

I could try discussing, that it’s only a reconsideration AFTER ALL

But what happens to me

When more information goes on to support the claim

OH well, you’ll have to start again.

 

I could try telling, that this is getting worse

I could say that I quoted it, all chapter and verse.

But what happens to me when I send the claim off

they say they have not had it, can you send us what we need?

 

Try again, is what I get, and copy it out again

Try again and send those support letters, that took weeks to gain.

But what happens to me and my claim,

When I tell them that it was recorded delivery, and its already been claimed?

 

It seems a M R is next, or even a FOI

It seems I had a copy but where it went, I do not know

But what happens to me, when I say where did it go

The address you used, is redundant and has been for many years.

 

It seems when asking for the form, my new address was on that

It seems that I received that O K

But what happens to me, when talking to the “office”

They said we sent it in advance?

 

Now I don’t want to cause a bother

Now that we have got it straight

But because you have already signed for it

Its you that just too late.

 

The moral of the story, is, please don’t ever give up

Because the time you have is plenty, to gather all your stuff

Just send in what they ask for, but remember, its Signed For on Receipt

It then becomes there problem, so that’s why they take 20 WEEKS?
